1) Does a player have to be part of a team or club to participate in OSCO tournaments?

Individual K-12 players do compete in OSCO tournaments. There is no requirement to be a part of any group or pay for any membership.

2) How do I get our tournament listed on the OSCO website?

Oklahoma scholastic chess tournaments which are open to all players in the specified grade or age range and don't conflicting with an already listed event may be listed on the OSCO website. Results will need to be provided in order to be listed. Email admin@okschess.org about listing your tournament, advice and assistance.

3) How do I join the OSCO club?

OSCO does not have its own club. We assist scholastic chess players in connecting with existing clubs, or forming new ones. OSCO members are the scholastic chess players and teams that participate in OSCO series tournaments, plus our wonderful donors.

4) How do I volunteer for OSCO?

OSCO is an all volunteer organization with frequent opportunities to do so. People participating in OSCO tournaments as relatives, coaches and organizers should contact the tournament organizer or tournament director to volunteer. For other volunteer opportunities outside of tournaments, email admin@okschess.org
